Attendance Expectations

⦁Students may set their own work schedules; must meet the minimum instructional period of 20 hours each week

⦁Students meet with their supervising teacher weekly for 30-45 minutes. Students may be required to meet more often, as needed.

⦁Students must keep these virtual coaching sessions to be academically successful and remain in the program. It is the parent’s responsibility to ensure that the student attends his/her coaching sessions.

⦁There are no excused absences in PVUSD Independent Study Virtual Academy.

Failure to meet the minimum requirements will result in a series of consequences that may culminate in the student being dropped from PVUSD Virtual Academy.
